If I hadn’t watched the process, it would be difficult to believe the members of this group had only been coding for three months, had never worked remotely, or had never coordinated with a team to create an application of their own design. With little to no guidance, they were able to identify what was necessary to stand up the minimum viable product. In the daily stand ups, they distributed tasks and went to work, maintaining effective communication throughout the day. All together, these five novice coders had a better workflow and were more efficient than the majority of teams I’ve worked with enterprise environments. Their final product speaks for itself.
